PURPOSE:To enhance sterilizing effect by a simple structure, by parallelly arranging a large number of plates in an air flow pipeline and providing a large number of small holes to each of the plates while applying silver coating to both front and back surfaces thereof and sterilizing the air flowing in from the flow pipeline by the silver coating layer. CONSTITUTION:A large number of plates are parallelly arranged in an air flow pipeline 1 at an appropriate interval so as to cross the pipeline 1 at a right angle and a large number of small holes 5 are provided to each of the plates 4 and silver coating is applied to both front and back surfaces thereof. By this constitution, the air flowing in the flow pipeline 1 from the introducing port 2 thereof is brought into contact with the silver coating layers applied to the plates 4 while successively moves through the small holes 5 of the plates 4 and sterilized to be discharged as clean air from a discharge port 3. In this case, it is pref. that the diameter of each of the small holes 5 is set to 1-10mm and the number of the small holes are set so that the total area ratio of the small holes 5 to each of the plates 4 becomes to 10-20%, because the contact effect of air with the silver coating layers in the plates is enhanced. |
