PURPOSE:To set a specific action mode selected by a mode setting means and to smooth the setting of each action mode by selecting two or more action modes in response to the rotating direction and angle generated by a rotary encoder by means of a mode selecting means. CONSTITUTION:Each action mode currently set is displayed on the display part 31 of the console panel of a copying machine, and the rotary encoder 35 generates signals in response to its two rotating directions and angles. The signals from the encoder 35 are inputted to a microprocessor CPU 41, which selects the set mode to its desired action mode through select keys 36a-36e. The selected signal from the encoder 35 is processed by an encoder pulse interrupting processing means 46, thereby setting a desired action mode among specific ones smoothly and surely. |
