PURPOSE:To prevent a motor against damage in assembly, by enclosing a permanent magnet into a cylinder section integrally formed with a short-circuit ring and by holding a magnetic sensor integrally secured with a resin insulating material to a coil end. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder section 2a to enclose and hold a permanent magnet 3 is integrally formed to the end face of a short-circuit ring 2. The permanent magnet 3 is formed into a square in the form of which it can be made inexpensively. The cylinder section 2a is provided square-shapedly at symmetrical two spots diametrically where the central part on the outside circumference is opened. The permanent magnet 3 is secured and held by caulking the tip of the cylinder section 2a. On the inside of a coil end 6 a magnetic sensor 4 is arranged such as a Hall element, etc., to detect the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 3 and then to discover the rotating directional position of a rotor 1. The magnetic sensor 4 is integrally secured with a resin insulating material 7 to the coil end 6 and is firmly held. |
