PURPOSE:To obtain a homogeneous superconductor with a high accuracy, by depositing vapor of a specific raw material compound on a substrate and calcining the deposit. CONSTITUTION:Vapor of a raw material compound 12 which is an oxide, containing elements A, B and Cu at a molar ratio of elements within the range expressed by the formula (A is at least one kind of Sc, Y and elements of La series having 57-71 atomic number; B is at least one kind of group IIa elements) and O partially substituted by at least one kinds of S, Ce, Tl and Po is deposited on the surface 13 of a substrate 11, such as single crystal, e.g. MgO, which is a material having >10<-6>/ deg.C linear thermal expansion coefficient (alpha) [e.g. MgO of (100) face, sapphire of (R), (C) or (a) face, spinel of (111) or (110) face or SrTiO3 of (100) face] or porcelain, such as alumina, and the resultant deposit is subsequently calcined. |
