PURPOSE:To reduce no head output on the innermost periphery by taking the gap of a magnetic head orthogonal with the track tangential direction on the innermost periphery and the slider longitudinal direction parallel to the track tangential line at the center position. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic head 10 is located on the innermost periphery of a disk 8, it is fitted to a specified gimbal so that a recording and reproducing gap 15 becomes orthogonal with the track tangential direction. Also, when the head 10 is located at the disk center position, a head slider 14 is arranged so as to become in parallel to the tangent of a center track. As a result, the head output may be able not to reduce so much even when the head 10 is located at the innermost peripheral position. The floating amt. of the slider 14 may also be able not to change so much even when the head 10 is located at any position of the disk 8. |
