PURPOSE:To obtain a digital audio tape recorder capable of recording/ reproducing a video signal by providing four magnetic heads whose azimuth angle is reversed each other at 90 deg. intervals on a drum and executing the recording/reproducing of a video signal by this head. CONSTITUTION:The four magnetic heads H-1, H-2, H-3, H-4 whose azimuth angle is reversed each other at 90 deg. intervals are provided on a drum 1. H-1A, H-2A, H-3A and H-4A show the respective azimuth angle of each magnetic head. The magnetic head H-5 having the reverse azimuth angle to that of the magnetic head H-3 is provided near the magnetic head H-3. An H-5A shows the azimuth angle of the magnetic head H-5. The magnetic head H-1 and H-5 are apart by the angle of 180 deg. approximately and the azimuth angle thereof are reversed each other. A magnetic tape 2 is wound 90 deg. on a drum 1 and guide rolls 3, 4 are of the guide roll to guide the magnetic tape. |
