PURPOSE:To reduce the thermal capacity of a linear and improve intake efficiency by mounting a cylinder head liner of thin wall ceramic square tubular body on a metal liner through an insulated gasket to interpose a heat insulating material between both head liner and metal liner. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder head liner having an integral structure of the lower surface 4 of cylinder head and the upper portion 2 of cylinder liner, a thin wall ceramic member 4 formed on the upper portion with a square tubular body is mounted on a metal liner 3 through a heat insulated gasket 8. A heat insulating material 6 is interposed between the square tubular body of ceramic member 4 and the metal liner 3. Thus, the thermal capacity of cylinder head liner can be reduced to improve intake efficiency. |
