PURPOSE:To eliminate the brittleness and to be capable of being machined by an electric discharge and mechanically by a method wherein, after a pulverized magnet material has been pressurized in a magnetic field and has been molded, the material is impregnated with a synthetic resin, is heated and is molded. CONSTITUTION:A magnet material of an Sm1CO5-based, Sm2CO17-based, Cm2Co7- based, SmPrCo-based, NbCo-based, NdB-based or NbFeB-based rare earth, cobalt or the like is pulverized to be less than 3mum in diameter; the pulverized magnet material is pressurized by an impact in a magnetic field and is molded. The pressurized and molded magnet material is impregnated with chloroprene, epoxy, polystyrene, methyl melthacrylate, tolyl, butyldorane, a polyamide-based or a polyimide-based synthetic resin. By this setup, it is possible to manufacture a hard magnet, a soft magnet and a semi-hard magnet which can be molded or machined electrically and to obtain the magnet whose performance is not inferior to that of a metallic magnet. |
