PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic magnet composition into which a ferromagnetic powder can be easily filled densely, the extrusion molding performance thereof is excellent and whose magnetic force is strong by a method wherein a specific ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer is used as a thermoplastic resin for a binder. CONSTITUTION:Seven-30 weight parts of an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer whose melt index is more than 200 is added to 100 weight parts of a ferromagnetic powder as a binder. A ferrite-based magnetic powder composed of MO6Fe2 O3 (where M is one or more kinds of Ba, Sr, Ca, Mg, Zn and Pb), a samarium cobalt magnetic powder or a neodymium-iron-boron magnetic powder is used as the ferromagnetic powder. By this setup, it is possible to obtain a plastic magnet composition into which the ferromagnetic powder can be easily filled densely, extrusion molding performance thereof is excellent and magnetic force is strong. |
