PURPOSE:To cut off exactly invasion external light into a process cartridge, and to prevent generation of optical memory development due to a fact that a photosensitive drum is exposed to light for many hours, by constituting an air exhausting opening formed on the process cartridge, of a zigzag louver plate shape. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 24 having a slit or an opening 23 is provided in a process cartridge 16 so that the opening forms a zigzag louver plate shape together with an opening 18. In this case, a blade piece 24a of the partition plate 24 opposed to the opening 18 is larger than the opening concerned, that is to say, the blad piece 24a is overlapped with an external wall of the process cartridge 16. Accordingly, when the process cartridge 16 is fitted to a body C, an air flow passing through a duct 21 flows through the opening 23 of the partition plate 24 an gap 25 between said overlapped blade piece 24a and the external wall of the process cartridge 16 the opening 18 of the process cartridge an ozone filter 19, is absorbed by a fan 20 and is exhausted to the outside of the body C. |
