The hearth is enclosed by hot surfaces which allow a high combustion temp. simultaneously with the radiation heat from the external surfaces of the tube. The reflector (17) provides effective heating of the water-enclosed boiler (15). The gas pressure in the combustion chamber is increased, and a higher combustion temp. is achieved.
