SYSTEM FOR SEGMENTING DISPLAY SCREEN

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize the segmentation of a display screen in both vertical and horizontal directions by reading out successively the recorded display addresses and the number of digits in response to the display timing and outputting a refresh address. CONSTITUTION:The display addresses and the number of digits of these addresses are recorded into a screen segmenting address table 1-1 set at a part of a main memory 1 and then set successively at both registers 6 and 7 during the horizontal or vertical blanking carried out for switch of screens. Then an access is given to a screen memory 4 and said addresses and their digital numbers are successively displayed on a display screen 2 via a character generator 5.
