PURPOSE:To execute removal of a core from a casting for a short time by heating end part of the core using organic binder at more than the combustion temp. of the binder and flowing in oxygen-contained gas from the heated part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of removing the core 1 remaining in inner part of the casting after casting from the casting, the casting is heated at more than the combustion temp. of the binder at the end part of the core, to burn the binder at the part. Next, the oxygen-contained gas (air, etc.,) at room temp. is flowed in the core through the combustion part. By this method, the temp, of the binder is raised to more than the combustion temp. in order with combustion heat and the heated combustion is spread and the whole binder is burnt and the core is decomposed. By this method, the core can be removed for extremely short time of about 1/10-1/50 compared with the conventional sand burning method. |
