PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to press an operation switch and to improve the operability of the editor of an electrophotographic copying machine by operating the editor interlocked with the detachment of an indication pen from a device main body. CONSTITUTION:When the indication pen 6 is detached for position setting on a tablet 4, an actuator 33 positioned in a hollow part 31 provided to the device main body 30 operates a microswitch 32 and an editor mode is entered through a CPU. Then only coordinate data inputted with the indication pen 6 are made effective. Therefore, when the indication pen of the editor is lifted, the coordinate data to the editor become effective for the 1st time, so wrong input is securely precluded and the operability is improved. |
