PURPOSE:To improve hue of a color recording image and unifromity of density without injuring heat resistance by improving reproducibility of dot, hue of color superposition, and reproducibility of density, by coating a pigment coated with a curved plate smoother which has a thin flexible sheet having a smooth surface. CONSTITUTION:A pigment coated layer consisting mainly of 100wt parts pigment and 10-50wt parts adhesives is established by coating on a material sheet composed of paper having wood pulpe as a main constituent to obtain 30-100mum in thickness and 30-80g/m<2> in coated amount. When the pigment coated layer is coated on the base material sheet, a curved plate smoother which has a thin flexible sheet having a smooth surface is used. The curved plate smoother herein is called a blade coater of a bent system. By coating with this apparatus, an acceptor sheet for a thermal transfer printer comes to have not only simply a smooth surface, but also a uniform coated layer to its inside. |
