<p>PURPOSE:To easily change the energizing force and to improve the quake preventing effect by using an air spring so that a support is set at the center of a sliding surface part. CONSTITUTION:A quake preventing device 1 contains a support 8 screwed into a nut 7 fixed at a bottom part 6 of an equipment via a screw part 8a. The support 8 supports the weight of the equipment and also to control the height of the equipment. A ball (sliding member) 9 is attached rotatably to a spherical recess part 8b formed at the lower end part of the support 8. A mounting member 10 includes a sliding surface part 10a and a fringe part 10b and a rubber plate 11 is bonded to the bottom surface of the member 10. Then an air spring 13 containing the air of the prescribed pressure is provided on the surface 10a. As a result, the relative displacement of the support 8 caused by the quake preventing action given at the occurrence of an earthquake can be effectively damped by the energizing force of the spring 13 having a small spring constant. Then the fall-down of each equipment can be avoided.</p> |
