<p>The invention relates to a method of recovering nutrients from the flue gases of a fertilizer plant by exposing hot, almost water-saturated reaction gases (4) obtained from the fertilizer production process to a countercurrent scrubbing (5, 6) and by scrubbing the hot gases (19) obtained from the drying (16) of the fertilizer, in order to recover the gaseous impurities present in the gases.
