This security device is characterised in that it comprises at least two units forming fixing and support bars 4, 6 preferably telescopic, intended to be fixed horizontally or vertically outside or inside and across the opening 2 and at least one module 8 formed by at least two horizontal or vertical fixing mechanisms 14 integral with at least two protection bars 10 set out vertically or horizontally, respectively. The fixing mechanisms 14 comprise initial means of locking 16 intended to work in conjunction with secondary means of locking 18 provided on the units forming fixing and support bars 4 or 6 in such a way that by locking together module 8 is firmly attached to the units forming fixing bars 4, 6 with the protection bars 10 set out more or less perpendicularly to the units forming fixing and support bars 4, 6. The assembly of this device and also its dismantling are very easy. Even though it is demountable the device is totally secure against breaking in and is also self-locking. <IMAGE>
