PURPOSE: To easily, quickly and safety redischarge the residual gas within a medical device in operation by providing a valve member connected adjacently to at least a first lumen part and second lumen part communicating with the internal space of a balloon. CONSTITUTION: A manifold 50 easily removes air from a catheter 10, and connects a balloon to discharging lumen parts 30, 32 to quickly expand/contract the balloon 14 in use. The plunger 51 of an injector injects a liquid through a port 42 and discharges air to an atmospheric opening part 45 through a bridge part 48. After this operation is finished, a valve rotating device 47 is rotated to open a port 44, and the bridge 48 is closed. The catheter 10 is held while having a distal tip part 26 directed vertically downward, and the plunger 51 injects the liquid into the internal space V of the balloon 14 through a balloon port 30a. The discharging operation is continued until the balloon is filled up, the air is finally removed from the discharge port 45 of an accelerating device 40 through a discharge lumen part 32, a discharge extended tube 21 and a Luer hub 20. |
