<p>PURPOSE:To enable even a user who is unfamiliar with operations of a key board to quickly perform the input operations by displaying the input guidance showing characters, codes, the numeric characters, etc. on a screen. CONSTITUTION:When three keys, i.e., a CTL key, a SHIFT key and an XFER key are pushed at one time on a keyboard, an input guidance 1 is shown on a display screen 3. The guidance 1 includes KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) of en, the English capital letters of em, etc. A pointing cursor 2 of the guidance 1 is moved every frame with push of a keyboard arrow key. Thus a desired character is pointed out with movement of the cursor 2. Then the character pointed by the cursor 2 is selected with push of a return key of the keyboard. This selected character is displayed at the position an input position pointing cursor on the display screen. These operations are repeated for the sequential input of desired characters.</p> |
