PURPOSE:To enable the prevention of excessive solar bath simply by carrying the device at the time of taking a sun bath, by giving an alarm when an integrated value of ultraviolet rays being detected exceeds an allowable value thereof. CONSTITUTION:When sunlight irradiates an ultraviolet sensor element 1 and a solar cell 8, a power is supplied to circuits through a regulator 9 from the solar cell 8. An electrical signal is outputted according to the amount of ultravio let rays in a specified wavelength range from the ultraviolet sensor element 1. Under such a condition, when a start/stop switch 11 is operated, a microcom puter 4 starts the integration of the amount of ultraviolt rays. After the start of the integration, an integrated value thus far obtained is held in a data mem ory even when the reception of light becomes poor, for example, going under a shade and hence, integrating operation is restarted continually for the state immediately before the poor state in the reception of light when the reception of light is started again. Then, when an integrated value exceeds the allowable amount of ultraviolet rays, an alarming means 7 actuates to inform a user of the excessive reception of solar bath. |
