PURPOSE:To enable copying to be repeated by using a switching layer having memory action obtained by plasma polymerizing an organic compound containing a metal complex and/or a metal chelate. CONSTITUTION:The memorizing switching layer 2 is formed by plasma polymerizing the organic compound having the metal complex and/or the metal chelate, such as phthalocyanine derivatives. A material having both of electric conductivity and light transmittance, such as In2O3-SnO2 formed on a glass or polyester plate or the like by vapor deposition or sputtering, is used for a conductive substrate 1, thus permitting copying to be repeated. |
