PURPOSE: To obtain a reproduced image high in image quality by arranging a transparent body whose at least one face is constituted of more than three face parts whose inclination is discontinuously different at the front part. CONSTITUTION: An optical filter 6 is arranged in front of a device which operates two-dimensional color display by the set of three red, green, and blue picture elements. This optical filter 6 has at least more than three parts whose inclination is different. That is, a light outgoing from a certain picture element of the display device is divided into three directions at the filter having three kinds of parts whose inclination is different, and the light outgoing from the green picture element can be resolved into a light going straight as it is, a light refracted only with +δθ, and a light refracted only with -δθby using the filter whose inclination is constituted of zero, +θ, and -θ. Therefore, an inclination can be set so that the light refracted only with +δθcan be viewed as the light outgoing from the red picture element, and the light refracted only with -δθcan be viewed as the light outgoing from the blue picture element. Thus, the discontinuity of each picture element can not be noticeable, and a scrupulous image can be displayed.
