PURPOSE:To permit a multiple transmission system, by forming a first superconducting layer on the outer circumference of a core member, forming an insulating layer on the outside of the superconducting layer, forming a second superconducting layer on the outside of the insulting layer, and forming a covering member on the outer circumference of the superconducting layer. CONSTITUTION:A coaxial cable 1 comprises a core member 2, an inside superconducting layer 3 formed on the outer circumference of the core member 2, an insulating layer 4 formed on the outer circumference of the inside superconducting layer 3, an outside superconducting layer 5 formed on the outer circumference of the insulating layer 4, and a covering member 6 formed on the outer circumference of the outside superconducting layer 5. With this arrangement, the cable can be easily made and the provision of the inside superconducting layer 3 and the outside superconducting layer 4 through the insulating layer 4 enables a multiple transmission and the like of electric signals. |
