The invention relates to a screening device for multi-contact electrical connectors. It comprises a first (plug) connector body 3 capable of being fixed to one of the connector elements around at least part of the latter, the said (plug) connector body comprising a rear part in the form of a shell 4 fitted with means 5 for connecting at least one screened cable 6 and a tubular front part 7, a second (receptacle) connector body 14, capable of being fixed to the second connector element 2 around at least part of the latter, the said second (receptacle) connector body comprising a tubular front part 15 of shape corresponding to that of the tubular front part 7 of the first (plug) connector body, the internal opening of the front part of the second (receptacle) connector body having dimensions slightly greater than the external perimeter of the front part of the first (plug) connector body enabling the said tubular front parts of the two (plug and receptacle) connector bodies to be fitted together, elastic fingers 16 being distributed over the internal face of the tubular front part 15 of the second (receptacle) connector body so as to come into contact with the external wall of the tubular front part of the first (plug) connector body when the (plug and receptacle) connector bodies are joined together by fitting their tubular front parts 7, 15 together. <IMAGE>
