This certificate relates to saddle tubes whose height can be adjusted instantaneously, with slot-type guides. When the slot 2B is in the frame tube 2A it can be hidden, even in the fully extended position of the saddle, by using a saddle tube 1A which is twice as long, with a tapped disc 1B located at mid-height; this system having the advantage of reinforcing the frame. When the slot 4B is in the saddle tube 4A, the latter may be guided in two ways: - either by means of a vent piece 5A fixed to the frame 8A and penetrating into the slot 4B, - or by means of a component, slipped between the eyelets, and whose stud penetrates into the slot 4B of the saddle tube 4A. The slot-type systems in the saddle tube may be locked with a bent lever, or remotely by a cable and lever. <IMAGE>
