<p>PURPOSE:To feed paper sheets in prescribed ways and prevent double feed by attaching a double-feed preventing means in which the friction coefficient is smaller than a transport roller onto the transport roller and attaching a transport means on the transport roller for pressing the paper sheet after the passing in a double-feed separating part onto the transport roller. CONSTITUTION:A double-feed separating part A mainly for preventing the double feed of paper sheets and a transport part B mainly for transporting the paper sheets are installed around a transport roller 35, in this order in the paper feeding direction of the transport roller 35. Each frictional force for the rollers 40 and 40 for preventing double feed of the paper sheet is set to a necessary value. Even if the transport resistance increases because of the frictional force of the rollers 40 and 40, and slip for the paper sheet is generated by the dividing transport rollers 35a and 35a on the both sides in the double-feed separating part A, paper sheets can be transported immediately after the passing through the dividing part A. Further, since the friction coefficient of a transport means 41 is small and the transport resistance for the paper sheet is small, the paper sheets are supplied in a prescribed feed quantity.</p> |
