PURPOSE:To perform a high speed rolling with a high rolling reduction without generating a slip and seizure flaw using the lubricating oil of the same kind, by applying a specified compsn. of precoat oil on the surface of a steel plate before rolling and then by cold rolling using a rolling oil of a specified saponification value. CONSTITUTION:The precoat oil applied on the surface of the steel plate before rolling is a lubricating oil of a mixture consisting of a base oil consisting of synthetic ester or mixed oil of synthetic eater mixed with one or more that two sorts selected among animal and vegitable fats and oils, mineral oil and polyalpha-olefine, and 1.0-5.0wt.% sulfer containing material having 10-35wt.% S and said lubricating oil has 120-160KOHmg/g saponification value <=30cSt viscosity at 40 deg.C and >=150 viscosity index. Furthermore, the rolling oil has >=140KOHmg/g saponification value. |
