In a front-loading laundry-treatment machine, the front wall (11) can be removed from the strips (5, 6) of the side walls (3, 4). The front wall is held on the strips (5, 6) by means of bolts (13) and studs (12). The front wall is bent round laterally in a U-shaped manner, slots (23) and bores (19) for receiving the bolts (13) and studs (12) being made in the legs (18). Fastening screws (15) hold the front wall in the plinth region of the machine. It thus becomes possible to lift off the front wall from the housing part (1) easily and quickly. <IMAGE>
