<p>PURPOSE:To improve acceleration performance of a vehicle, by judging whether a vehicle is accelerated abruptly based on a negative pressure in an intake tube and stopping recharging of a battery through a generator if the vehicle is accelerated abruptly, thereby enabling judgement of abruptly accelerated state through a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:An alternator 10 is driven through an engine 12. Output voltage from a stator coil 18 is rectified through a main rectifier comprising diodes D1-D6 and employed for recharging a cell 16. During abrupt acceleration where a throttle valve 20 is fully opened, output from a negative pressure sensor 24 for detecting negative pressure in an intake tube lowers, and a judging circuit 26 outputs a recharge stopping signal having positive voltage. Consequently, a transistor C is turned OFF to stop generation of power through the alternator 10 so as to reduce engine 10 load to be born by the alternator 10.</p> |
