PURPOSE:To speedily switch auto/manual modes through one touch by giving a means which switches an automatic focus adjusted status and a manual focus adjusted status by moving an operating member arranged on a lens barrel in a direction in parallel with an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A distance measuring circuit 2 detects an amount that the image forming position of an object deviates from an expected focus position and its deviating direction. When a main CPU 1 sends distance measurement data request signals to an interface circuit 9, it supplies integration start control signals and clocks to a CCD sensor 8. It starts integration and completes that. Then the output of the CCD is sent to the interface circuit 9, where said output is A/D-converted and transferred to the CPU 1. A release circuit 3 expresses a switch in state where it instructs the start of an AF action with AFENA signals, and a switch 12 in state where it instructs a release action with release signals, supplies them to the CPU 1 extremely actively. A release signal circuit 10 converts the state of each switch into signals. |
