An elastomer bearing for structures with alternating loads comprises a dimensionally stable basic body having a profiled surface, an elastomeric intermediate layer corresponding to the surface structure (texture) of the basic body, and a dimensionally stable covering body which rests on the intermediate layer and of the corresponding surface structure for adjusting the spring restoring force of the bearing. Different profilings permit adaptation to the on-site requirements in terms of the force behaviour which occurs.
