摘要 It is the state of the art to make use for the purpose of avoiding centring errors and alignment or tilting errors of additional or integral devices on bore meters whose mode of operation corresponds to static methods which are based on different geometrical considerations. The disadvantage of these devices, which have to be sunk into the bores to be measured together with the assigned meter, is their poor suitability for measuring deep bore holes, since the control of centring and alignment is more difficult at depths. The object of the invention is therefore the improvement of the measurement of deep bore holes without centring and alignment errors. This object is achieved by means of a device which is distinguished by a meter carrier (18) which is pivoted to a retaining rod (10) in the manner of a universal joint and has two elements (24) which automatically expand radially outwards and are at the distance (b) of the bore axis. The advantage of this solution is that because the retaining rod can be of any length it is possible for the carrier of the bore meter to be brought, if necessary, up to the rear and (situated at depth) of a deep bore hole. On the way there, the two elements of the meter carrier automatically ensure, irrespective of the position of the rod on the meter carrier, that the measuring axis of the meter is centred and aligned and remains so if the error in cylindricity of the bore to be measured is not too large. <IMAGE>
