PURPOSE:To suitably process videos in a wide range by using an arithmetic part for deciding results against each image element, a delay part outputs said results after holding them once, and a sequential processing part which decides each image element based on the output of the delay part and the results of the arithmetic part. CONSTITUTION:Image data supplied to an input part 1 are successively processed by a nearby processing part 2, an arithmetic part 3 and a sequential processing part 4. A delay part 10 is connected to the part 4 and the arithmetic results of the part 3 are fed back to the part 4. This feedback output is inputted to a selector 16 and the same time the output branched out of the part 3 is also inputted directly to the selector 16. The selector 16 selects each image element and supplies these elements to different image memories 17. Thus it is possible to ensure a video processing action at a speed higher than a general- purpose and an extra-large computer for application to both the non-sequential and general-purpose video processing operation and the sequential video processing operation. |
