Taking as an example an average Swedish location, the period of the year during which heating is required is approximately 270 days, i.e. 6,500 hours, and during 90 percent of the time 50 percent at most of max. heating load is required, as illustrated by the following:-Q1 = n1,A1=n1power 2, P1 = n1 power 3 Q2 n2 A2 n2power 3, P2 n2 in which Q = flow (m/h) H = pressure height (mvp) P=effect (W.kW). By reducing flow by 50 percent, the effect requirement is reduced by 87-89 percent. The external indicator (1) monitors the actual temp., and when the temp. reaches a theoretical value, in this case - 3 deg. C., the thermostat (2) controls the pumps (3) via contactors (4) so that the pump running at 50 percent functions, whilst that operating at 100 percent load remains inoperative. @(Provisional basic advised week 90/37)@ @(7pp Dwg.No.1/2).
|
