The invention relates to a container for the measured discharge of liquid by means of emptying a dispensing chamber by pouring out, the said dispensing chamber being connected via a rising tube to the liquid in a supply chamber provided with flexible housing walls, the rising tube merging into a dispensing stem located inside the dispensing chamber with a liquid passage opening located above the bottom of the dispensing chamber. For simple and exact dispensing, the invention proposes that the dispensing chamber (II) is designed as a dispensing cup (D) and that the inner wall of the dispensing cup (D) has a peripheral marking (M), visible by looking through the cup opening (Ö) into the interior of the cup, and displaced from the course of the adjoining wall. <IMAGE>
