A display panel is specified, in particular for stadiums and similar event locations, which makes it possible to improve the contrast ratio and the lateral emission of the information presented on the display panel. Furthermore, stray daylight is excluded. According to the invention, each reflector (10), designed as a parabolic mirror, of the radiator of light points which is arranged on the panel in the shape of a grid, is altered in such a manner that the lateral partial paraboloid surfaces (20, 21) of the reflector (10) have a different direction of emission than the upper partial paraboloid surface (19). The bottom partial paraboloid surface (18) is rendered ineffective. In a further embodiment of the invention, a ring (14) is inserted into the front surface of the display panel, which has a shading effect on the display panel. <IMAGE>
