<p>PURPOSE:To remove ice and snow positively from wire, by winding a spiral rod loosely around the wire and securing the spiral rod to spacers having an inner diameter longer than the outer diameter of the wire. CONSTITUTION:As a spiral rod 2 is not wound tightly over a wire 1 but a small gap exists between them, the spiral rod 2 can rotates around the wire 1 or moves linearly. Spacers 2a having inner diameter slightly longer than the outer diameter of the wire 1 are secured to the spiral rod 2. A driver 6 for applying rotary force, linear motion or combined motion onto the spiral rod 2 is coupled thereto, and driven through a motor 4 and a clutch 5 so as to remove snow adhered to the wire 1.</p> |
