Drum screen with longitudinal supports joining two end rings, in which supports flexible screen elements are held, said screen being drivable in the circumferential direction of the end rings. In such a screen, to ensure high self-cleaning, it is provided that longitudinal supports are arranged distributed around the circumference of the drum and are held so as to be displaceable in the plane of the end rings, a drive being provided for each of said displaceable longitudinal supports which imparts to said longitudinal supports a movement superimposed on the rotary movement of the drum.
