PURPOSE: To adjust the position of a steering wheel with ease by clamping a steering column and a steering hub by a clamping means through an intermediate member. CONSTITUTION: A clamp means 7 for fixing a hub 2 to a steering column 1 is constituted in such a way that with the steering column 1 held between the hub 2 and an intermediate member 8 by the hub 2 and a means to clamp the intermediate member 8, a steering wheel is fixed onto the steering column 1. A spline forming means 11 and complementary 12 constitutes a means to limit the angular displacement of the intermediate member 8 to the steering column 1 when loosening the clamp means 7. The clamp means 7 has a screw 14 to press the hub 2 of the steering wheel in cooperation with the screw hole 15 of the intermediate member 8. The angular displacement of the steering wheel can be adjusted by loosening the screw 14. |
