PURPOSE:To always house paper in a state where it is curled downward regardless of both-face and multiple copying and to prevent a misfeeding by providing a an inversion device and a 2nd switching gate which separates both-face copying from multiple copying on the lower part side of a housing tray inside a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 12a which is energized upward by a compression coil spring 13 is provided on a paper supply tray 12 and paper 11 is laminated on the base plate 12a. One sheet of paper 11 which is on the uppermost layer, is fed out with the driving of the rotation of a feed roll 14 and carried to a transfer position by a carrying roll pair 16. And a toner image on a photosensitive drum 10 is fixed in a heat roll fixing device 20 by a transfer corotron 18 and ejected to an ejecting tray 22, as it is, in case of one face copying. In case of both-face copying, the paper 11 is led to a transfer path in a vertical direction by a 1st switching gate 24 so as to be housed in a housing tray 26 and inverted in the inversion device 42 by actuating a 2nd switching gate 40, then it is ejected to the tray 22 if copying is completed. In case of multiple copying, the 2nd gate 40 is switched to execute the specified transfer without passing the paper through the inversion device 42. |
