In a multi-way solenoid valve with an armature displaceable in the magnet coil and a valve cartridge formed axially relative to the armature and having two valve seats which are arranged at a distance one above the other and the allocated closure pieces of which can be actuated with mutual interaction by a plunger axially displaceable by the armature against a restoring force, two independent plunger parts (11, 18) formed coaxially in a row are provided as the plunger in order to simplify the construction and reduce the amount of adjustment. The plunger part (11) nearer to the armature (13) accommodates the closure piece (17) for a first valve seat (15), and the plunger part (18) further away from the armature (13), by means of a restoring force (22) coming into effect on the closure piece (20) for a second valve seat (21), is supported on the closure piece (20) of the second valve seat (21) and is permanently held on the closure piece (17) of the first valve seat (15) by the restoring force (22). <IMAGE>
