PURPOSE:To simplify hardware and to attain low cost, by using the result of error detection of a main data for the error detection of control information data. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing data from a demodulation circuit 1 is applied to a sub-code separating circuit 2, where the data is divided into the data of the main channel and the sub-code. The data of the main channel is applied to an error correction circuit 3 and the sub-code is applied to a buffer memory 7. The sub- code delayed at the memory 7 is applied to a sub-code processing circuit 8 and the sub-code discriminated as correct at the circuit 8 is applied to a system controller 9. Further, an error pointer formed at the circuit 3 is applied to a pointer buffer memory 11, interleaved and applied to a discrimination circuit 12, where the number of error pointers representing the error is counted, and when the number exceeds the number of prescribed threshold values, a falg representing that the corresponding sub-code makes an error is produced and applied to the circuit 8. |
