PURPOSE:To increase the superconduction temp. of a perovskite type superconducting material to >= 200 K by carrying out heat treatment in an oxidizing atmosphere contg. gaseous fluorine or chlorine when the superconducting material represented by a prescribed formula is produced. CONSTITUTION:A powdery mixture of starting materials is brought into a reaction by heat treatment in an oxidizing atmosphere contg. gaseous fluorine or chlorine to obtain a perovskite type superconducting material represented by the formula (where L is Sc, Y or La and A is Ba, Sr or Ca). The material has a crystal structure shown by the figure and F or Cl has been positioned at an O lattice point in each plane formed by the element A. |
