In the non-polluting process, the regeneration fluids used are aqueous solutions of salts containing main plant-nutrition elements, preferably commercially available synthetic fertilizers, and/or acids and/or alkalis which likewise contain plant-nutrition elements, the resulting regenerate being neutralised if necessary and either being discharged directly as a liquid synthetic fertilizer or being used as an additive for fertilizer compositions. In this way, an economically highly important product such as synthetic fertilizer is utilised twice in succession without special measures having to be taken for this purpose. The main advantage is that no solutions of high NaCl content are formed, which cause difficulties in destruction, reprocessing or final disposal. |
