PURPOSE:To form an ethylene elastomer composition which has a high speed of vulcanization, stable antiscorching resistance and storage stability before vulcanization and is excellent in mechanical properties without performing long-time postvulcanization, by adding a vulcanizing agent comprising four specified compounds to a specified ethylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:To the following component A is added a vulcanizing agent system comprising the following components B, C, D and E: (A) an ethylene copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 50-85mol.% ethylene (a), 50-15mol.% acrylic or methacrylic ester (b) and 1.0-8wt.%, based on the total of components (a) and (b), unsaturated glycidyl ester, (B) a compound containing at least two carboxyl groups in the molecule and/or a polycarboxylic acid anhydride, (C) a quat. ammonium or phosphonium salt, (D) a urea derivative compound and (E) a compound containing at least two imidodicarbonyl bonds in the molecule. |
