PURPOSE:To share a device for manufacturing various kinds of curved plate glass by providing length adjusting parts enabling the length projecting from blow base surface to vary and blow angle adjusting parts, to a large number of nozzles provided to the blow bases of a pair of upper and lower heads. CONSTITUTION:In the cooling device in which a curved plate glass G is cooled by blowing cooling air from upper and lower positions in a treatment stage, a large number of through-holes 31 are bored to the blow base 30 confronting the treatment stage side in a pair of blow heads 10, 11 provided on the upper and lower parts of the treatment stage. The nozzles 40 are furnished to each through-hole 31, and the length adjusting parts 42 of movable hollow rods and the blow angle adjusting parts 44 of flexible rods are provided on at least the nozzle 40b located at the areas corresponding to variable bend area Gb of glass G. When the glass G is cooled, the length of the rod 42 are suitably adjusted so that the top ends of nozzles 40b are disposed on the line (l), and the rods 44 are suitably adjusted to bend so that the air blown out from the nozzle 40b collides at right angles against the surface of the side bend part Gb. |
