PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a storage device for storing a signal to be calculated, by reading out non-destructively a signal by a floating gate. CONSTITUTION:In a second signal generating circuit, an accumulating part 25 consisting of a CCD provided with electric charge transfer elements Tb1-Tbn, Cb1-Cbn, respectively corresponding to odd numbered photodetectors Db1-Dbn, and a shift register part 27 are formed, and signal charges generated in the photodetectors Db1-Dbn are transferred to a shift register part 27 through the accumulating part 25. In this regard, the signal charge held by a shift register part 27 is transferred between floating gates Fr1-Frn by a clock signal which is synchronized with the clock signal, but it is not transferred in the longitudinal direction. In such a way, a signal to be calculated can be generated repeatedly and non-destructively through the floating gates Fr1-Frn, Fb1-Fbn. In such a way, a storage device of a large capacity is not required. |
