This invention concerns a floor drain in which a floor covering 6 is secured to the inner surface of the side wall 2 of the drain by means of a locking ring 7 which presses the floor covering 6 against the side wall. To secure the locking ring in place, the side wall 2 of the drain is shaped such that the floor covering forms an inwardly directed bead 9 above the locking ring 7. Obtaining a locking ring which can be driven past the bead 9 and which despite this presses the floor covering 6 against the side wall 2 of the drain under the bead has been a problem. According to the invention, the problem has been solved by placing a sealing ring 10 in the inner surface of the side wall 2, which sealing ring comprises bead-forming lips 11 which are inflexible. <IMAGE> |
