PURPOSE:To suppress an ignition pressure and prevent flame in a combustion chamber from propagating to a fuel air chamber, by a method wherein a solenoid valve is opened after operating an ignition unit and a proportional valve is conducted after applying a fuel pressure on the proportional valve. CONSTITUTION:An operation detecting unit 27 detects the operation of an ignition unit 26 and a detecting signal is transmitted to a control circuit 50. A solenoid valve opening signal or a L level signal is outputted from a microcomputer 53 and a solenoid valve conducting relay 54 is conducted by a transistor 56 to conduct a solenoid valve 44. Gas, which passed through a main solenoid valve 43, passes through the solenoid valve 44 and flows into a proportional valve 45. The conduction of the propertional valve 45 is delayed from the conduction of the solenoid valve 44 by 0.5-1sec, therefore, the pressure of gas is applied on the proportional valve 45 and the proportional valve 45 is being closed. When the charge of a capacitor 65 is discharged and the potential of the same is reduced, the transistor 7 starts the conduction of the proportional valve 45 and the proportional valve 45 controls the supplying amount of gas passing through a gas pipe 42. The gas is mixed with air and is sent into a combustion chamber through the small flame port group 34 of a burner 33 while the ignition unit 26 is being operated in the combustion chamber 26 whereby the gas may be ignited. |
